FC Barcelona has released a comparison of statistics between this season and the last and we have created an infographic for the goals statistics so that you can see them in a simpler way. View it after the jump.
Statistics-wise, we can say that Barcelona was better in most of the statistics last season.
Yet, we managed to snatch the La Liga title in a record-breaking fashion, equalling Real Madrid’s 100 points haul from last season.
It is also worth mentioning that despite the popular conception that Barcelona is weak defending from set pieces and headers, they actually improved on those parts compared to last season.
For now, we only made this first infographic for the goals as we are still compiling the rest of the statistics, such as possession percentage, chances conceded/converted, etc.
The statistics comparison released by fcbarcelona.com only tells a fraction of the story.
