Neymar to decide in a few days Barca or Real Madrid !

In a series of tweets posted on the official Santos FC twitter page, the club confirmed their acceptance for two bids by two different clubs. 

The clubs are believed to be FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The first two tweets were posted on 1:46 a.m. CET and read, “Santos FC announces that it has received two proposals for the athlete Neymar da Silva Santos Junior. 

Given the conditions… and the player’s contract, the Management Committee and the Club decided to negotiate for the player.”

The third tweet said that Neymar and his representative (his father) are expected to choose their preferred bid in Belmiro.

The fourth and fifth tweets were posted on 5:45 a.m. CET, after the club had met with Neymar and read, 

“In a meeting with representatives of the Management Committee of the Santos FC striker @ Njr92 became aware of the proposals received by the Club… and… should analyze them in the coming days, before making a final decision.”

It had been previously reported that Neymar’s only preferred destination was to head to Catalonia, as was also stated by Santos FC vice-president a couple of days ago. 

However, unexpected things have happened during transfers before, so we’ll only be done with this prolonged saga in a few days, for better or worse.
